STORYTELLING SERVICES

Co-Production

We understand the nuance of public history podcasting and audio/visual media when it comes to underrepresented stories. That's why we approach storytelling as care work.

We co-produce our work alongside descendants and community stewards, ensuring that our storytelling and preservation efforts honor lived experience and collective memory.

Urbanist Media has a team of creatives dedicated to helping mission-aligned groups develop podcasts and other types of media content (like 90-second history shorts).

Testimonial

“Deqah, Vanessa, and Connor are excellent audio storytellers. The 90-second stories were packed with not only informative and educational history nuggets, but the music and delivery by the hosts put the production over the top. We are so happy with the project and to work with Urbanist Media again in the future.”

— Jenell Walton Vice President of Content, Cincinnati Public Radio
